Personal opinion on the subject matter: we're all going to die anyways, it's just that we don't know when. The truly ugly thing about smoking is the health problems that comes with the habit.

I don't understand why people choose to smoke as if it's like choosing a hobby, even though it's obvious that the need to smoke begins to control the smoker whereas cooking or photography does not. Good things come from cooking a good meal or taking a meaningful photograph, but does anything good come from smoking?

My old man was a smoking pipe for over 40 years, he quited smoking last year and even attanded sorta "training school". Now he stiill has the obssession; it kills him to stop the urge to touch cigerretes after meals.....tell your bro to quit as fast as he could.

I took me years to get my parents to stop. Now I must make sure that they at max. smoke one at a party.
But I can't get my brother to quit either. He doesn't smoke alot but I wish he didn't smoke at all.
So I know what it's like :heart:
