Facepalm at the people who chose style over skill, well, I guess it pretty much sumes up most of DA's community. "style" and theme like MLP or Hetalia fanarts and inflation hentai/ero pics get 9000+ atention while amazing great artists go unnoticed and unrecognized.

Technique and skill reflect the time, dedication and patience someone has invested in an art, they testify the person's ability. "Style" is quite the wrotten concept, or at least hugely missunderstood, and usually the no. 1 excuse for amateurs and begginers to cover up their mistakes and justify their missgiven atention/"success"...
